The Center for Molecular Medicine Cologne had every reason to celebrate: “25 Years of Progress in Molecular Medicine” was the title of this year’s anniversary CMMC Symposium.

Our Studio.On.Line. team provided the digital support for the prestigious conference, which took place as a hybrid event for the first time this year. We were responsible for the high-quality broadcast on a streaming website that we also designed. A total of 21 speakers from abroad were unable to attend in person due to the corona pandemic and thus shared their presentations and latest scientific findings with the conference live digitally.

The all important poster sessions on current research projects were also staged virtually. In order to do this, our team worked with one of our partners to design poster maps with stands on which the scientists could present their latest research findings live, as if they were attending in person.

Networking only works in person? Not at the CMMC Symposium; the Cologne map made it possible for colleagues to meet spontaneously at the cathedral or chocolate museum, and the delegates were also provided with a lot of tourist information by the City of Cologne.
