On 28 September 2020, the COVID-compliant closing ceremony for the integrative-education project “Modellregion Inklusive Bildung” took place before 50 in-person attendees and numerous virtual guests in the Mirror Hall of the hallowed clubhouse of rowing club Frankfurter Rudergesellschaft, capping five intensive years of work.

In addition to the many interesting podium guests, including Julia Frank (Chair, City Parents Council), Markus Volkow (comprehensive school pupil at Integrierte Gesamtschule Süd), Ute Sauer (Chief Administrator, City Schools Office) and Jan Kofranek (School Director, Wallschule and Beratungs- und Förderzentrum Frankfurt Süd), a talk on the development of inclusive education by Prof. Dr. Dieter Katzenbach (Frankfurt University) as well as exciting video clips, the ceremony recapitulated the joint efforts and participation of the many dedicated educators and risked look to the future. State Minister of Culture Prof. Dr. R. Alexander Lorz took part with a prerecorded address, while City Councilwoman Sylvia Weber (Department for Education and Integration) gave hers in person.
