The fourth REload Status Conference of business development body Wirtschaftsförderung Rhein-Erft (WFG) was held as a two-hour live event that was broadcast from our studios in the early evening on 16 November 2020.

With his accustomed verve, Henning Quanz once again moderated the flagship event of the WFG, which featured a taped address from North Rhine-Westphalia's Economics Minister Prof. Pinkwart, and which was also attended the movers and shakers of this administrative district. Frank Rock, the new District Commissioner, made his début appearance, and Susanne Kayser-Dobiey, WFG Managing Director, and her team reported on their varied work and numerous initiatives in the corona year 2020. Additionally, the heads of five key structural projects launched in the Rhine-Erft District impressively showcased their work.

The WFG also hosted the selection and award ceremony for the first start-up prize EXISTENZGRÜNDERPREIS RHEIN-ERFT-KREIS, with three nominees who each presented live start-up pitches. With input from audience voting, a jury of notables ultimately declared blueparc GmbH the winner.

A first-class event that gave a face and a voice to the programmes shaping the structural transformation of the Rhine-Erft District.
