Tricity?! Never heard of them? We can take you to places you’ve never even imagined.

In order to be able to always offer our customers the hottest destinations, I went on a FAM trip to Poland on 5 - 7 April 2019.

The three Polish pearls of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia lie strung out along the sandy Baltic coast among the green hills of the country’s north, within easy reach of the international airport. 1,000 years old, Gdansk is the oldest city in the region and home to numerous cultural attractions such as the Gdansk National Museum, the world’s largest brick Gothic church and the Amber Museum. The cityscape of this Hanseatic city on the Weichsel is highly reminiscent of Lübeck and Amsterdam. This city is home to its own brewing tradition with its uniquely Gdansk beers as well as the famous liquor Goldwasser. In addition to fine food and drink, Gdansk, with its young population, boasts a vibrant nightlife.

The spa Sopot is approx. 15 kilometres from Gdansk, and can be reached via a scenic cycle path stretching along the Baltic shore. In the historic, five-star Grand Hotel Sofitel with its stunning view of Europe’s longest boardwalk, guests can savour the same timeless, gracious ambiance that historic guests like Charles de Gaulle, Marlene Dietrich and Fidel Castro once enjoyed.

Gdynia is the youngest of the three cities, best known for its bold, audacious architecture and ocean-front businesses.

So why not dare an incentive trip to these three unspoiled Baltic jewels? I’d be happy to share my experiences and am looking forward to hearing from you! Yours Swana Schmidt
